The Arc of New Jersey is thrilled to learn that Governor Phil Murphy has signed S3434/A5366 into law which will help certain students get back critical services that were lost because of COVID19. The legislation will allow students in special education, due to graduate this year, an additional year of school during the 21-22 school year.
The Arc of NJ, our local chapters and our amazing advocates and families did a tremendous amount of advocacy to see this come to fruition. Thank you very much to everyone who assisted in the strong advocacy that led to the passage of this important legislation!
