DHS's EVV_FAQ
It has a lot of beneficial information for any family who employs SDEs to work with their DDD individual.
As of Jan. 1 2021, DDD has reported that, in order for SDEs to be paid, the SDEs will need to begin using EVV devices (Electronic Visit Verification) to record their work hours, whenever working with a DDD individual.
DHS has a sheet titled: EVV FAQ on their website (and we attached it here). It has many answers regarding the soon to be mandatory system (EVV) We think families will be most interested in what the FAQ states about family caregivers. It says that caregivers who live with the individual are NOT subject to EVV come January 1.
